'IF LOOKS COULD KILL!'
Strengths:
The overall look is stunning. The patent black surround makes the picture look amazing, especially when compared to other LCD / Plasma screens. The functionality is good, with a nice split screen for the picture and old teletext on the analogue picture. Picks up the digital TV nicely and standard Sky is good, I would imagine the HD picture was better. We have a cheap DVD player so can't really comment on the visual quality of this. Has all the bells and whistles required the forseeable future. We got it for less than £750 too - pretty good for a branded 32".
Weaknesses:
Sound is average, probably would be best used in conjunction with a surround system. Like most LCD / Plasma TVs needs to viewed from a distance, too close on standard signals and it is pixelated.
Overall:
Fabulous picture / visual presence, it has to be seen to be appreciated, looks fab and doesn't dominate the room, but big enough to be clear from a significant distance. We love it and are still charmed by it even after 5 months - recommended buy
