'Small Floorstanders small enough to fit on a windowsill '

Strengths:
Big Sound, Small price.

Weaknesses:
No longer available new.

Overall:
I bought these speakers as i have my P.C. run through a stereo amplifier and wanted a nice set of speakers to do my sopundcard justice, To be hones I wasn't really expecting a great deal from them but was greatly surprised at how good they sound, bas is controled and not the usual one note that you can get from inexpensive speakers.
90 Watt peak power handling
48 Hz - 20,000 Hz Frequency Response
88db efficiency
I believe you will need a good amplifier to get the best from these speakers, one that has tight bass control, treble is sweet with pretty much no sibilance.
Overall a very good buy that i`m very happy with, I would buy another pair for the bedroom but sadly they are no longer available.
