'FLEXIBLE QUALITY AUDIO DAC WITH USB'
Strengths:
USB input is VERY useful when you have a PC/Mac
Class A output stage gives very smooth, detailed, rhythmic sound with wide soundstage.
Great build quality.

Weaknesses:
Need to buy more leads
Outputs have no remote control
Overall:
The difference this DAC has made is quite astonishing! The increased level of detail and transparency on every level has to be heard to be believed. Mine has not fully burnt in yet and it already knocks the sound of my Arcam CD73T into touch. Fortunately I can still use the Arcam as a transport via coax.
The DAC has 1xUSB, 2xOPT and 1xCOAX inputs, so upgrades up to 4 different digital sources, making it better value than it may first seem.
To upgrade my Arcam CD73T would have needed a spend of £800+ and this comes comfortably under that plus the ugrade potential of 3 other sources thrown in.
Soundwise it is tonally accurate, rhythmically spot on and the transparency, detail and soundstage are hugely better than before. The USB input sounds fab and makes Internet radio a source of quality sound as well. With higher quality Internet coming and downloads of 24/96 quality already available it should prove to be a futureproof upgrade for some time to come.
Enthralling stuff!
