Description: Sony’s European IT peripherals division has released five new headsets in a range of styles and colour variations.
The DR-220DPS and DR-220DPTM are standard headband PC headsets, the DR-220DPVS and DR-220DPVTM are also headband headsets but with in-line volume control and the DR-260USBS is a USB model.
Designed to meet the needs of a range of applications, the sets can be used for everything from listening to music to online multi-player gaming, hands-free internet chat and VoIP calling.
Feature-wise the headsets include Sony Acoustic Twin Turbo Circuits and a ‘Silent Cap Design’ for reduced sound leakage. Each set is designed for clear voice and sound transmission with flexible, rotating boom microphones and noise-cancelling technology.
European pricing is listed as €25 for the DR-220DPS and DR-220DPTM, €30 for the DR-220DPVS and DR-220DVPTM and €60 for the DR-260USBS.
