Sonance has added the X6R SST ‘single stereo’ design speaker to its in-wall Architectural series.
Ideal for hallways, smaller rooms, alcoves and bathrooms, the X6R SST combines a meaty 6.5in woofer with dual mid/high frequency sections to create ‘full, spacious stereo sound’ from a single speaker.
Also new is a trio of ThinLine models, engineered for shallow-depth installs.
The two-way speaker is available in three incarnations, the round X6R TL, square X6S TL and rectangular X6 TL.
All use audiophile-quality carbon-fibre woofers and extended response silk dome tweeters.
All of the new speakers share the Architectural trademark ‘true flush’ finish and have a choice of fine-cloth finishes to blend in with the no doubt designer surroundings.
All are available now, the X6R SST retailing at $700 each and the X6R TL, X6S TL and X6 TL at $975 for a pair.
